Earning the Certificate
Completion of the four core courses plus one elective course offered by the Watershed Management Professional Program provides participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to make effective decisions about complex properties and resources within a framework of diverse disciplines, values, ecological baselines, ownerships, controls, and user rights. Following successful completion of the five courses, a Certificate of Completion in Watershed Management will be awarded. All courses are offered annually, and participants have three years to complete the course work for the certificate.
Academic credit at the graduate level is available for the all courses. Academic credit is in the field of Public Administration and is awarded by the Division of Public Administration in the Mark O.
