Lodging and Travel RecommendationsA block of rooms has been reserved at the following hotel: University Place We recommend that you arrive on Sunday evening, as we will start the program first thing Monday morning. Please call the hotel directly to make your reservation and mention the "Natural Resource Policy" group name in order to get the discounted rate ($89/night plus tax). Directions to the hotel are available on the above website. Due to massive amounts of construction around Portland State University right now, we highly recommend taking alternative transportation (light rail or taxi) to the hotel rather than renting a car (information available on the hotel website). Portland is extremely easy to navigate via public transportation and on foot, so you may find that you won't need a car at all during the week.
