Dr. Magis is owner of the Leadership Institute in Silverton, Oregon and fellow at the Hatfield School of Government at Portland State University, Portland, Oregon. Her research agenda includes social justice, sustainability and democratic governance. Her recent work features research on Global Civil Society coalitions’ proclivity to find collective voice in diversity. She is currently consulting with the U.S. Round Table on Sustainable Forests to develop a measurement protocol for Community Resilience, an indicator of social sustainability new to the Montreal Process Criteria and Indicators.
